One year ago today 5 complete strangers gathered in a Newmarket rehearsal studio to begin a new project that would later become The Royal Pains.
The lineup went through a number of changes, as is often the case with projects like this. With each change we got discouraged but moved on and eventually found that the changes were ultimately for the best.
When we finally started playing shows, things went better than I could have ever expected. The past few months have been a whirlwind with some pretty memorable moments. If this project ended tomorrow, it would have been worth it to me. I look forward to many more shows.
As the founder of this little project, I'd just like to say thanks to my fellow Pains Christopher Dias, Stuart Narduzzo and Al Forte for their hard work and all the intangibles they each bring to the band. You guys rock!
