This past Saturday we returned to Mississauga for our second show at Drake: A Firkin Pub. The last time we played there it was a great night, birthdays were celebrated, music was played and dancing was done. This time it was an equally great night, only this time the place was at capacity! They were turning people away at the door! We apologize to anyone who came out and couldn't get in. Luckily it was a mild evening and those who waited eventually got in.
At any rate, this is feeling like a bit of a pattern when we play in Mississauga. Hopefully it will continue.
A shout-out goes to the staff and management at Drake: A Firkin Pub for inviting us out to play again and for doing a great job providing amazing service.
Shout-outs also go to those who celebrated birthdays that night I apologize, I believe it was J.C., Adrian and Jason (I apologize if I missed anyone or got your name wrong).
Finally one last shout-out to some guest performers on the night which included Birthday-boy Jason who stepped up to the mic to sing Alive by Pearl Jam, Vince who led the band in a little "Come Together" by the Beatles and of course the 5th Pain Robbie Findlay, who sat in on the cowbell for a few songs.
We don't have a lot of pictures or video of the evening, so if you were there and you have any, please feel free to share with us and everyone else.
We return to our favourite place in Barrie on February 11th atDonaleighs Irish Public House:
We hope to see you there!
